Home Visit: Take II

I just wanted to give a quick update. Earlier today we had our 2nd home visit. Before the first one that was scheduled we had extra cleaned our house like crazy not knowing what they would be looking for, but she had to reschedule. Then we cleaned for another week and for our first visit again, which was actually last week. We were expecting her to look at the house then, but she only had to collect paperwork and didn't go past the kitchen. 

This week we cleaned again knowing she would walk through, but first we stopped in the kitchen to sign more papers. I thought maybe I should quit baking cookies for her so she wouldn't be pulled to the kitchen, but she didn't eat any so I guess that wasn't it. Anyway, after all that she did a quick walk through to get the main layout and and an idea of the house. 

Before she left we went over what was left and how long it would be before we could get the first child. She said we have one more visit with her and have to have our papers and safety list completed. Then she will finish our book which will then go to her supervisor then Nashville. Once Nashville approves and we are certified, we can start getting calls anytime, YAY! Impatient me asked for a time frame and she said it would be anytime from mid June to late June or sooner or later. I'm fine with sooner! 

Looks like we will busy the next few weeks with our checklist and decorating the room! Also, thank you everyone for your kind words, support, and prayers! We know we have great family and friends, but didn't know we would get such sweet responses. To be honest, I didn't know what to expect. Thank you!
